Online Training & information System
The OTiS online training system is designed to afford Local 25 members training and educational material in an easy to use online format that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Easily updated, new training categories, modules and tests can be added simply, ensuring OTiS will be an ongoing learning resource. Diagrams and images will be included in some of the material and tests can be generated to evaluate your achievement and skill level. A complete record of your study material and tests results will be available to you at any time for review in order to target areas where more study may be required.

My administration is committed to providing the educational resources that will enable the membership to prepare themselves for the future. As part of that committment, and because of Local 25's diverse membership and wide jurisdictional area, we have chosen this 'online' format to bring traning and education directly to you so that you can upgrade your skills and prepare for your future. In order for Local 25 to continue as a viable organizationand to expand future employment opportunities we must be able to provide our contractors with highly trained and skilled 'Dredgmen'. The training material contained here will cover a number of areas including the Apprenticeship Program, USCG related information, ongoing job skill training, HAZMAT and more.
OTiS Training is available to all Local 25 members. To use the OTiS system you must first register on the system. Some Local 25 registration information has been pre-loaded into our database, namely your Local 25 registration number and your last name, providing a means to verify you are a member of Local 25.
The registration process is comprised of two steps. Step one requires you fill out the registration form, including your Union registration number. This number can be found on your Local 25 'book' or membership card. The system will verify your Union information is in the database.
Once your information has been verified, you will recieve an email to the address you provided. This is the confimation email to verify your email address and to activate your account on the system. To activate your account simply click on the link in the email. You will then be taken to your personal start page.
Your personal page will contain information about what modules you have accessed in the past, what tests you have taken, a list of new modules added since your last visit and links to all the information provided there.
When you return to OTiS, just log on using the email address and password you provided during registration.
This OTiS online training system has been developed exclusively for IUOE Local 25, to provide the members with the latest and most relevant job related information and to allow self-administered testing and evaluation.
